Weiliang Xia, Ph.D., tenured full professor and Associate Dean of Zhiyuan College, an Honors College at SJTU, is in charge of external relations and internalization, undergraduate research, alumni affairs and donations. For the cultivation of talented undergraduates at Zhiyuan College, he has designed training programs, in particular strengthened external collaborations with leading universities both at home and abroad. He has organized Zhiyuan College’s International Forums for Talent Education consequently in 2019, 2021 and 2023. For his work in the talent education in basic science disciplines, he is recognized with an outstanding management award by the Ministry of Education, and Second Prize of National Teaching Achievement Award.
