Lawrence WANG graduated from University of Waikato, New Zealand, with both degrees of Finance and Marketing and obtained EMBA degree from CEIBS (China Europe International Business School) in 2020. Lawrence is currently CEO of Vista China and Vice President of the Shanghai Film Distribution & Exhibition Association. With 11-years work and entrepreneurial experience in New Zealand, Lawrence was appointed as the Head of the Asia-Pacific Region for Vista Group in 2014, and successfully increase Vista’s market share in China from 0.5% to 10%. Lawrence defines Vista China as a bridge between the Chinese and global film industry, aiming to facilitate two-way interaction and support development of the Chinese film market.
